Abstract

Organizations that seek prominence in this era of high level competition among successful organizations have welcomed a strategic repositioning of their entire processes and procedures. Undoubtedly, this strategic move is to favor knowledge resources, and to make its place more prominent as to impact every facet of organizational routine. This reality has come in the light of globalization and modern business expectations, where different challenges that characterize a business environment have made it complex, unpredictable and highly competitive. Constant change in business conditions, market liberalization, high production, flexible organizational structure, developing partnerships, and information and communication technology are features of globalized business environment.
