About Prof. Ezekiel A. Adeniran

Biography

Adelere Ezekiel Adeniran is a Professor of Environmental Engineering. He is Associate Vice President and Chair of Development Committee, Babcock University, Nigeria. He was the immediate past Director of Works & Physical Planning in the University of Lagos and former Head of Civil Engineering, Adeleke University. He holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Lagos. He also obtained M.Sc. (Computational Hydraulics) and Ph.D. (System Dynamics Application to Water Supply Systems) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is ATC-Innova Advanced System Dynamics Modelling Diploma holder and a UNESCO-IHE certified Constructed Wetland Design and Construction expert. His areas of research include but not limited to System Dynamics modeling of environmental/energy systems, Solid Waste Management, Renewable Energy, Decentralized Water and Wastewater systems, Surface and Groundwater Engineering. He received the 2010 World Federation of Engineering Institutions’ Best Innovative Engineering Research award. He is a member of several professional bodies and holds the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the American Water Resources Association, and the Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers. He has attended and presented papers and technical reports at International Conferences, Workshops and Study tours. He is widely published with over 60 publications in peer review journal articles, conference papers, chapters in books, monographs and technical reports in local and international platforms.
