Dr Babatunde Adebua is a Senior Lecturer and current Head of the Department of Languages and Literary Studies at Babcock University, Nigeria. His core specialization and interest are in African Oral Literature, Culture Studies and comparative literature. He has published peer-reviewed articles in reputed local and international journals as well as chapters in textbooks. He belongs to several learned societies including Nigerian Oral Literature Association (NOLA), International Society of Oral Literature Associations (ISOLA), African Dialogue Series Group, Babcock University Gender and African Studies Society (BUGAS) among others. He has supervised student’s dissertations, theses and co-convened several international conferences.
