Dr Ezeokoli is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Social Work Department of Veronica Adeleke, School of Social Sciences, Babcock University Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, with area of interest in Social and Family Psychological Welfare and Community Development. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Social Work (Community Development) from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. She also holds Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from University of Ibadan, Ibadan and Masters in Social Work (MSW) also from University of Ibadan, Ibadan. She obtained her first degree in Religious Studies (Educational Foundation) from the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt.
Before joining Babcock University, she was a Lecturer 11 at Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. She has been actively engaged in the academia since 2002 as a Research Assistant during her PhD program at in the University of Ibadan for six years (2002-2008). She was the Acting Coordinator Social Work Unit of Babcock University in 2013 – 14. Also she was appointed by the Department of Social Work, Babcock University to assist the HOD as Assistant HOD for the department from 2015 to 2018.
Dr. Ezeokoli has been providing field supervision for her students in agencies in Nigeria. She was a visiting lecturer to Savannah State University, GA USA in 2018, where she was the supervising faculty for the International field placement for exchange students at the University. The international field Education in Gerontology was funded by a grant from the International Association of School of Social Workers (IASSW). Also in 2019, she chaperoned social work students for international exchange program to savannah state university, GA, USA. Within this period of visiting, she was involved in knowledge sharing and understudying of faculty at Savannah State University under the terms of the MOU. She is married with children.
She has also delivered several professional papers in workshops, seminars and conferences. She is a member of both National Association of Social Workers (NASOW) and the International Association of School of Social Workers (IASSW). She is also a member of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASON) and Nigeria School Health Association (NASHA). Her other professional affiliations include Nigerian National Council of Adult Education (NNCAE), National Association of Social Work Educators (NASWE) and Association of Medical Social Workers (AMSWON).
