About Dr. Oluwafikayomi Banjo

Biography

Dr. Oluwafikayomi Opeyemi Banjo is a Lecturer1 in the Department of Social Work, Veronica Adeleke School of Social Sciences at Babcock University, Ilisan -Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria where she teaches courses in Social Work and General Studies.  Banjo's research focus includes, Developmental Psychology, Social Policy, Adolescent and Family Studies, Mental Health and Women and Gender Studies. She has published well researched articles in reputable local and international peer reviewed academic journals and books. She is a mamber of professional and academic bodies such as Nigeria Association of Social Work Educators(NASWE),  International Federation of Social Workers(IFSW),  International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), Counselling Association of Nigeria(CASSON), Positive Psychology Association of Nigeria (PPOAN).
