Abstract

This paper reports a survey of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) among broadcasting stations in Ibadan metropolis. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from one third of the staff of the four broadcasting stations using stratified random sampling method. The results showed that the use of ICTs in the broadcasting stations was still at the initial/preliminary stage as most of the ICT facilities available to them were computer, fixed telephone and mobile telephone. The newer technologies like the internet, videoconferencing and teleconferencing were not yet adopted Contemporary Humanities 1 (1) 29-36
