Abstract
The dramatist, as all other personae in the literary genre of art, is seen as a voice of vision in his generation. Hence the type of message which emanates from them should add relevance and quality to the lives of the people. It is the opinion of this scholar that of all the social menaces that bedevil and subjugate the people of this great nation, Nigeria, corruption is the greatest albatross. It is the aim of this paper therefore, to examine the treatment of the theme of corruption by Nigerian literary dramatists with a view to revealing the panacea they have espoused and prescribed to cure our nation of this benign gangrene, before it becomes malignant and totally destroys this fragile contraption called Nigeria. This Paper is unequivocal in its position that if all else fails; the corrupt leaders will be removed through the collective revolutionary action of the people.
