The improvements that technology has brought and is still bringing to our society call not be overemphasized. This improvement is still a continuous process' as divers technologies arc emerging on daily basis, at low cost and in portable forms, making it accessible and affordable lor different class or the human race, internet or Things (loT) is a fast emerging technology with the promises or signillcant benefits to individuals. homes, companies. institutions and the whole world at large, The technology behind loT is driven by various technological force such as smart devices, wireless network, pervasive connectivity and so on. It is indeed as promising technology. but as promising as this technology is there arc associated challenges. This paper looks at some of the benefits attached to Internet of Things especially in educational sector and also considers the challenges and security issue.
