Abstract
In some parts of Africa today, the girl child is seen as a second treated as such. In some societies she is even unaccepted. She IS take part in some of the basic essential activities of life to build her and character. She is prevented from participating in any challenging can lead to mental, physical and social development and as such seems not relevant. Meanwhile, ill some other parts of Africa, the accepted, is allowed to participate in activities to develop her ski her to contribute her own quota to the development of her tm extended environment. The major challenge, here is that of inequality. This paper discusses various gender inequality.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a profession, ICT use can empower and develop the girl child in Africa.
