Abstract
When a person dies, the usual thing that is done is that his property would be administered and shared among the beneficiaries of his estate. The distribution of the estate of a deceased fellow is subject to the rules of testate succession and/or intestate succession, it is all depends on the way the deceased lived and died while he was alive. The main of objection of this article is to address the tripartite laws guiding the distribution of an estate of deceased fellow in Nigeria. The article will look into the modus operandi for the distribution of the deceased to his beneficiaries by the administrators named in a will or be appointed to perform such function.
