Abstract
Job performance is one of the most important indicators in any organization. This study wants to find out the influence of qualification and family structure as a correlates of job performance of principals and vice-principal of selected secondary schools in Lagos state. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. Data collection was done with a self-constructed questionnaire and the results were analyzed using inferential statistics and simple percentages, standard deviation and the hypothesis were tested using t-test with a 0.05 level of significance. A sample of 860 principals and vice principals were selected for the study and 5 supervisors rated them for their job performance.
The result revealed that there is no significant outcome between qualification and family structure on the job performance of principals and vice-principals in secondary schools.
