Abstract
This is an investigation of the influence of Occupational tress, Motivation and fear of Economic Stability on turnover intention among three selected industrial workers in Ogun State. The aim was to facilitate understanding of factors influencing turnover intention so that appropriate counseling ervices would be recommended. It is a descriptive study of an ex-post facto design in which 250 worker were randomly selected. The mean and the standard deviation was 39.27 and 5.615 respectively. Data was collected using T urn Over Intention Scale (TOIS) and analyzed by Multiple Regression and Pearson Product Correlation. Findings revealed that the independent variables accounted for 56.5% and F-ratio of (F3,246) 0f 31.57 is significant. Also fear of economic stability turn out to be the best predictor, followed by Motivation and occupational stress. Lastly, turnout intention shows a positive relationship to all the three independent variables. On the basis of this finding, it is recommended that: Employers should put appropriate measures to stabilize the economy. Management should encourage job redesign-task so as to reduce job stress.
