Abstract
The objective of the paper is to determine the effect of promotional strategy directed at final consumers/intermediaries on sales' performance of carbonated non-alcoholic beverages in Lagos State, Nigeria. The methodology adopted in this research includes the survey research method in which the primary source of data was employed. The research instrument was the questionnaire administered on the samples from the selected firms. The statistical tool employed was the logistic regression analysis to determine the effect of promotional strategy directed at final consumers/intermediaries on sales performance. The study showed that in NBC and 7UP, there is significant effect of promotional strategy directed at final consumers/intermediaries on sales performance. The study concluded that promotional strategy directed at the final consumers/ intermediaries significantly affect sales performance.
