Abstract
Our world is at the edge of a stupendous crisis. People of all races, ages, economic status, and beliefs are bewildered by the intensity of exasperating calamities, atrocities, diseases, terrorism, economic melt-down, and nuclear stockpile happening across the globe. To what extent do these represent the signs of the end of the world as predicted in the Bible? Can we say: “We are almost home?” What are the signs in the natural, religious, social, and economic spheres? What are the prophetic signposts? What does the believer do to get appropriately prepared and assured? How does one finish strong in the race of life? This article seeks to supply adequate biblical facts for these ruminations.
