Abstract
One of the biblical dietary and moral injunctions often overlooked is the modern-day applicability, validity, and relevance of the biblical law against eating meat with its blood. Is it a relish of abolished Jewish stipulation? This paper examines the setting of this divine prohibition among other biblical laws and its relationship to them. It investigates how this law was inaugurated, expounded and practiced in Bible times and how it should be followed today. It relates this stipulation to other health-related prohibitions and the slaughtering and marketing of meat.
