Abstract
Based on the distinct identity on teaching, theology, liturgy and Philosophy the church acclaim, the Church wishes to preserve and protect her uniqueness, and being a conservative evangelical Christian organization; this has continuously become a challenge to the church in the face of up growing Charismatic movement across mainstream churches. It has been observed that Charismatic movement is prevalent in the mainstream churches like Roman Catholic Church, Anglican Church, Presbyterian Church, to mention a few;" it has also had its grip on Seventh-day Adventist Church. The history of Charismatic movement in Seventh-day Adventist Church can be traced back to the pioneering era of the Church." Ever since then, the church has gone through various challenges, weathered many storms, and had finally come to where it is today. However, the church has continuously battled with the issue oflosing her identity. Today, it is an ongoing battle between main church and the charismatic groups in the name ofIndependent Ministry.
