Abstract

The work juxtaposes public and private education in Nigeria and concludes the public institutions are in a derelict state infrastructure and carrying capacity-wise and in may other areas. Private initiatives seem to be faring better. The seventh-day adventist model is advocated as a stepping stone towards revamping the educational sector in Nigeria.
