Abstract

The paper delves into the issue of Nigerians who were conscripted and fought on the British side in World War II. Many of them died unsung and are not remembered. A few of them who are still alive are treated shabbily. The paper opines that these heroes should be honoured and not allow to live in squalor for their well being and as an inspiration to promote the ethics of hardwork and patriotism.
