The paper is a case study of how undergraduate law students of Babcock University make use of the electronic library in the law school library. The objective of the study was to determine the extent to which law students of Babcock University use the electronic library. The descriptive survey is the research method used for this study. The population of this study consisted of undergraduate law students of Babcock University, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State in the 2013/2014 academic session. The 2013/2014 academic session has two hundred and seventy-nine (279) registered law students. The sample population of 138 was used. The population is made up of 100 to 500 levels students. One hundred and thirty-eight (138) questionnaires were administered to the students using random sampling techniques. Out of these, 107 was returned representing 77.5% rate of response. Data collected were analyzed using frequency count and simple percentages. The study shows that 91.6% of law students use Electronic library resources. The E-library is mainly used for research purpose, to do assignments, course registration, printing, e-mailing, accessing e-resources, etc. The least reason for using the E-library is to play computer game (0.9%). The popular electronic platforms used are Google, Yahoo, Law Pavilion, Jstor and Ebscohost. 63.5% of law students see the adequacy of the e-library to legal education. The study also highlighted the major challenges faced by the students to include slow Internet connectivity, electricity interruption and inadequate seating capacity. Based on these findings, recommendations were made.
