Abstract
Print materials have for long been the traditional method of reading. However, the evolution of information communication technology has given rise to electronic materials in as many formats as its print counterpart. While libraries are encouraging the use of digital resources, the study considered the acceptability of electronic materials to users. The study looked at law students’ preference for print materials against electronic materials. The paper foundthat law students have a preference for print materials, while showing acceptability for electronic sources. The paper canvassed for a hybrid collection of both formats of information resources, and for exposure of law students to electronic literacy skills so they could gain adeptness in the use of electronic information resources.
