The research was carried out to investigate those factors associated with youth and human development in Ogun State. The study employed an ex-post-facto research design. The participants comprise youth and adults that were selected through stratified random sampling within Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The mean age and standard deviation of the respondents was 32.5 and 3.291. The instrument used was Youth and Human Development (YAHD) was developed by the researchers which were administered by them. Data was analyzed using Multiple Regression and Pearson-Product Moment Correlation. The results indicated that the four variables that is, job, education, environment, and health contributed 63.9% to the variance in Youth and Health development and are statistically F-ratio (F4.295) = 62.734 at 0.05 level. Moreover, job availability contributed most to Youth and Human development followed by education, health and environmental respectively. Lastly, all the four variables show a positive correlation with Youth and Human development. On the basis of these findings, it is recommended that:
Government and corporate organisations should provide more job opportunities for youth and
Education should be made affordable to and by all.
