Abstract

African as a nation is bewildered and characterized with insecurity challenges such as political instability, insurgencies, human and narcotics trafficking, identity, post-conflict difficulties, violent and religious extremism, organized crime taking root in urban Slums, poverty, food insecurity to name few. The Overwhelming situation encumbered the continent make security elusive, evasive and unattainable on one hand, and on the other hand, Globalization with her laudable characteristic espousing interconnectivity had made the majority of people susceptible to one form of insecurity issues globally not leaving Africa continent out. Globalization, destructive or constructive had contributed in no measure to migration, the proliferation of arms, syndication activities, handling of weapons of destruction to diverse aggrieved individuals who in turn seize the prevalence circumstance of youthful idleness and restless, employed and perpetrate evil. Therefore, the study holistically looked at the failed states of Africa, the introduction of globalization, the horrendous effect generated and the continuous plummeted situations. Descriptively analyzed, integrated globalism at its baseline, equivocally agreed that the pre-existing structures and states in Africa do not have the propensity for absorbing globalization idiosyncrasy, hence the abysmal effects on all and sundry.
