Abstract

This chapter explores the information needs of the Christian Clergy and the issues of access and availability of information in their environment and culture. The author focuses on the types of information need, the purposes and use of such information in pastoral ministry in Nigeria and across the globe. The recommendations in this chapter would be of help to Christian Clergy, seminarians and theological institutions in Nigeria in planning library and information systems that would meet the information needs of Clergies in Sub-Saharan Africa.
