Abstract

this work takes a look at the legal regime of arrest of ship in Nigeria. it discusses the legitimacy of the arrest, consequences of wrongful or unlawful arrest and the sale of arrested ship in Nigeria. it concludes by stating that the interest of justice wold be better served where the laws and the rules are observed by all parties involved in a ship transportation.
