Abstract
Education, no doubt, occupies a position of prominence in every human society- It is seen as are quisite tool for the complete development of the individuality to enable him make an original contribution to human life to his best capacity Education has produced some great men and women in the world. People of giant intellect and extensive research, people who have left the world better than they met it in terms of scientific and technological breakthroughs. Nevertheless this achievement has not brought about character transformation which is very much needed to make the world a better and peaceful place for man to inhabit. Age after age, the world plummet into more moral degradation. This shows that something is fundament ally wrong with our system of education which the mere study of science and arts alone cannot correct. And this calls for the need for a better education or true knowledge. Education. which would mingle learning of \ science and arts with religion, moral and character and emphasize the principles of God's word as the foundation of real success. It is in the light of this that this paper examines the peculiarity of Adventist education within the context of Christian education, and how it can adequately equip and prepare its beneficiaries to render selfless, loyal and patriotic service to their society after leaving school. The paper also includes some recommendations to help Adventist schools perform better.
