Abstract
The study applied pooled OLS and fixed effect model to examine the impact of Economic growth, terrorism, and tourism in SSA, OECD, and MENA countries using annual data covering 55 African countries pooled into 3 panels of 21 SSA countries, 16 MENA, and 18 OECD countries from 2014-2017. The data for the study includes the Governance Index, Global Terrorism Index (GTI), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) covering the years of 2014 to 2017. The finding of this study shows that terrorism inhibits economic growth and stability in all three regions. Government influence was also foundto be negative in MENA but positive in SSA, OECD, and using the complete data set.
