The failure to locate culture as the strongest index in the centrality of language use among individual sexes within a particular speech community is a cankerworm that has militated against the appropriate use of language in today’s society. The English languages we hear, read, speak and write has common-core features which exhibit peculiar gender flavour, geographical location, social style and the world view of the speaker. Using one hundred tricycle inscriptions selected under purposive random sampling technique, the Theme-Rheme theory of Systemic Functional grammar as propounded by Halliday (1971), and Sapir-Whorfian hypothesis model on culture and language as framework, the study carried out a quantitative analysis that explored the thematic structures and the sociological implications of the various inscriptions on the tricycles found within Aba metropolis with the view to tracing it to individual’s gender, cultural and personality identities. Findings revealed that English Language which is the official language of communication among tricycle riders has metamorphosed into a manipulative tool used in expression and concretization of thought process, definition of sex, belief and character identity. The study recommends among others that the context of culture of every language user should be considered in other to carry out an informed and sustainable conclusion on their personality traits.
