Abstract
Conflict is inherent in all societies. All societies’ are prone to violent conflict associated with perverse and irrational behaviour. There is little doubt that, no phenomenon is caused by nothing. Behind any social phenomenon there is a cause. The aim in studying social phenomenon is to determine its primary cause. What is real in one society is different in other societies. Perhaps, then it may not be surprising that religious militancy tends to be experienced in societies were there is a strong primordial attachment to religion.
