Abstract
From the perspective of an active participant in charting the spiritual landscape at Babcock University as a worship center pastor, as well as a theology teacher, this book chapter x-rays the impact of the large non-SDA youth population on worship and the use of church music at Babcock University. It also suggests a model or paradigm which Babcock University leadership could utilize to intentionally package worship services in such a manner that will lead the students to discover and appreciate the rich SDA worship and musical heritage in Nigeria by the time they graduate from Babcock University. Such intentional approach is also intended to clarify some of the misconceptions about worship at Babcock University among SDA Church members and the leadership in the field churches in Nigeria and sometimes beyond. It seeks to provide a model for other sister institutions worldwide that may be facing similar challenges.
