Abstract
The study attempts to highlight these experiences and identify coping and success strategies which will provide a model for younger and future female academics in similar settings. The study also attempts to discover the unique contributions of female professors to knowledge generation and administration in their higher institutions to enable employers and decision makers in higher institutions deconstruct stereotypical and deficient knowledge about females. The study also hopes to create awareness about family friendly employment practices for the benefit of private institutions and the employees- both male and female.
