Abstract
Penicillin can be isolated from the culture of some fungi producing natural Penicillins such as
Penicillium notatumor and P. Chrsogenum. Other Penicillins can be sythesized semi-synthetically or by precursor indicated biosynthesis. Total synthesis will not be economical.
Penicillin's inhibit the polymerization of murin, which is responsible for the stability of the bacterial cell wall. Because antibacterials are toxic, many countries regulate the level of antibacterials in agriculture, veterinary, dairy and meat base food products.
