Abstract
Globalization is one, if not the strongest of all forces that gave rise to the current world economic crisis. For the purpose of this study, globalization shall be seen as world wide economic integration with a view of annexing the potentials of nations toward “mutual benefitâ€. As major industrialized nations are gradually going down into economic recession, the effect cannot but be felt in the developing nations as their economies are tied to the apron string of the earlier. This paper set as its goal to trace the origin of the current economic crisis, to assess its impact on developing nations and the way out of the crisis.
